Sunscreen dispenser

Sunscreen Dispenser

Our sunscreen dispenser will be out and about at club events- SANFL footy, BBQ, Bunnings and other events in the Playford area.

Sunscreen use is one of five important ways of reducing the risk of skin cancer. Cancer Council recommends using sunscreen every day on days when the UV Index is forecast to be 3 or above.

Recycling

Our Lions Club is very passionate about the environment and recycle. We have set up a recycling corner at our Den. Here, we are collecting used batteries, glasses/sunglasses, and empty pill foil packets.

If you have any of these items that you wish to donate to us for recycling, please contact us.

ALCMF Trike

Australian Lions Children’s Mobility Foundation

The Australian Lions Children’s Mobility Foundation (alcmf) empower children who cannot walk unassisted to reach their potential. They do this by facilitating the funding of walking and other mobility aids that get kids out of their wheelchairs and onto their feet so that they can walk, explore, play, work and socialise. This makes them stronger and healthier – physically, emotionally, and mentally. Walking Is their gift to the child, a gift that benefits the child, their family, and friends.

Lions Recycle for Sight

Lions Club of Elizabeth Playford are proud to actively participate in the Lions Recycle for Sight program. This program runs worldwide and involves the repairing and refurbishing of eyeglasses and sunglasses, which are then distributed to people in need.

Contact us today if you would like to donate your old glasses.
