At the Elizabeth Playford Lions Club’s meeting on 25th October, club members were thrilled to present Harley Betterman, from Northern Adelaide Seniors College, with his prizes for the John Worrall photography competition.
Harley won both categories he entered and received the trophy for overall winner. Harley also received monetary prizes for all 3 sections.
Harley was speechless for a moment and said he would buy some more photography equipment he wanted.
The John Worrall photography competition is an annual photography competition in recognition of a past member of our Lions Club, John Worrall. John loved taking photos and we are proud to honour his memory with this new initiative which is also supported by his family.
The John Worrall photography competition is open to students from years 7 to year 13 in the Playford Council area.
