The John Worrall photography competition is an annual photography competition in recognition of a past member of our Lions Club, John Worrall. John loved taking photos and we are proud to honour his memory with this new initiative which is also supported by his family.

The John Worrall photography competition is open to students from years 7 to year 13 in the Playford Council area.

Competition details:

• • The competition is free to enter
  • Photos must measure 8” x 10” (20.3 x 25.4cm) and printed on photographic paper
  • Photos can be in a frame of the entrant’s choice but the frame does not form part of the judging criteria
  • Photos must be original and unaltered
  • Photos are to have no marks or labels that may identify the photographer
  • The photos will be displayed in the Civic Centre for judging
  • Prizes for all categories and overall winner
  • Entries to be lodged by 2nd October to the Lions Club
  • Winners will be invited to the Lions Club to receive their prize on Saturday 14 th October 2023
  • Photos preferably taken in the Playford Council area
  • Prizes for all categories
